By using NorthBIM's products and services, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of NorthBIM's website, Revit plugins, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you are using our Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
Upon purchase, NorthBIM grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our Revit plugins in accordance with these Terms and the specific license purchased (per-seat or site license).

License includes minor updates and bug fixes. Major version upgrades may require additional purchase. Support is provided according to your license tier.
All prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise specified. Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice for subscriptions.
We accept major credit cards, Interac e-Transfer, and wire transfers. Payment is processed securely through our third-party payment providers.
Pre-built plugins come with a 30-day money-back guarantee. Custom development projects are subject to the terms specified in the project agreement. Refunds are not available for hourly consulting work.
Prices do not include applicable taxes. You are responsible for all applicable taxes based on your location.
NorthBIM retains all rights, title, and interest in our plugins, website, and related materials. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.
Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide may be used by NorthBIM without restriction or compensation.
For commissioned work, intellectual property rights are specified in the project agreement. Generally, you receive a license to use while NorthBIM retains underlying code ownership.
We warrant that our plugins will perform substantially as described in the documentation for 30 days from purchase. This warranty is void if failure results from accident, abuse, or misapplication.
EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED, OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
While we strive for compatibility, we cannot guarantee our plugins will work with all versions of Revit or in all environments. Check system requirements before purchase.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NORTHBIM SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or our Services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold NorthBIM harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our Services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
We may terminate or suspend your access to our Services immediately, without prior notice, for:
Upon termination, your license to use our plugins ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.
We will attempt to resolve disputes through good faith negotiation. If that fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Kelowna, BC, under the rules of the ADR Institute of Canada.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and NorthBIM regarding our Services.
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision.
You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations freely.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email or website notice at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
